Stroke Clinics

    Does your swimmer need to prepare for summer swim team?
    Does your swimmer need a little extra stroke refinement in a particular area?
    Are you looking for your swimmer to build up their endurance?

Stroke Clinics are held every spring in preparation for the outdoor summer swim teams.  If you are interested in having an MSA Instructor work with your swimmer during other parts of the year, please call to schedule a free consultation at 608-630-9800.  We can provide assistance if your swimmer needs to strengthen or work on particular skills.

 

What?

Stroke clinics are 1 1/2 hours of directed swim drills and practice based on your child's needs.Each clinic will also focus on dives and turns in addition to the stroke form. 

 

When?

Saturdays- April 1st, April 22nd, and May 6th 10:00am - 11:30am

Sundays- April 9th, April 30th, and May 14th 4:00pm - 5:30pm

Where?

All of our stroke clinics are held at the Fitchburg location, 5200 Anton Drive, Madison WI 53719.

 

Who?

Each swimmer must be able to swim four consecutive lengths of the pool in addition to one length of each: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke, and Freestyle.  It is recommended that MSA swimmers have passed or be currently enrolled in a Level 6 Otter Trotters.  New swimmers must have the skill equivalency of this MSA level and demonstrate their proficiency.

 

How Much?

Each stroke clinic is $30 per swimmer, paid at the time of enrollment. Register with a friend and the cost is $50 for both of you. Space is limited.
